Dr. Guy Maclang is now serving as our hospitalist at Nash Health Care Systems and LifeCare Hospitals of North Carolina.
Originally from the Philippines, he finished medical school at the University of Santo Tomas in Manila, Philippines. After completing his Post Graduate Medical Internship training and obtaining his Philippine Medical Boards, he and his wife, Cecilia, moved to Dallas, TX to pursue their careers in medicine and nursing. From Dallas they moved to Savannah, GA for his Internal Medicine Residency training at Memorial Health University Medical Center.
He is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and is regarded as "Doctor of Adults" by the American College of Physicians.
His wife, Cecilia, a Registered Nurse by profession, also serves in our community. She cares for their two wonderful children, Neill and Kyle, as well. His family is happy to be here in Rocky Mount where they enjoy their quiet neighborhood and the warm, nice people of the city and the forests of our region.
